What a day! We’re very excited to announce that the first annual Guns vs Hoses charity hockey game raised over $9300. Sincerest thank you to everyone that came out to enjoy and support the event, from the great turn out at the barbecue to the near 500 people at the game itself. Also a huge thank you to the Vernon Vipers, Beach Radio and to all the sponsors that made this event possible, we truly couldn’t have done it without you. 

Thank you to the RCMP for partnering with us on this too. We hope this can be the start of a longstanding event within our community. The support we get for our charitable efforts in Vernon is something we never take for granted and we hope everyone is looking forward to next year already! 

Side note…..in a close and competitive game, the firefighters pulled out a 6-3 win.
